Napa County Landmarks (NCL) advocates for the appreciation and preservation of historic buildings, sites and districts through educational programs, public policy, research and technical assistance. NCL established a scholarship fund in 2019 to promote the values and benefits of saving what remains of our unique architectural heritage and to support the next generation of historic preservationists. Ten $1,000 scholarship are awarded annually to applicant responses to the question: “Why is historic preservation important in Napa County?” For more information, contact your high school counselor or the NCL office at 255-1836.
